Beryl’s Blues
This piece includes parts for two guitars with the first part being entirely on the first string and the second part being entirely on the second string. It can be played in first or second position. A simple bass line on open strings is given, but an experienced player could add a more sophisticated walking bass (such as the written out one included). Fret numbers are indicated above the notes and string numbers below. I have found this piece extremely useful with getting young and inexperienced pupils going with their first experience of ensemble playing.
Included Parts
Two copies are included with chord diagrams for both right-handed and left-handed players, together with an optional teacher’s bass part.
