If you want to learn to play a musical instrument
I often get enquiries about tuition on the clarinet or saxophone. I do not offer such tuition, but I am very happy to offer consultations and informal advice regarding both instruments (and others), and can always suggest people for you to get in touch with.
If you want to learn to play a musical instrument, there is no reason to put it off, whatever your age. Good quality budget instrument prices are at an all time low and you can really get a long way without spending too much.
There is also a lot of free and paid for help available online in the form of videos and written material. Your main problem at the beginning is sorting out the good advice from the bad advice – and that is where a good teacher comes in! Whoever you go to for lessons, the important thing is to find a teacher that you get on with and who has the relevant expertise in your chosen area.
