Triplet Trouble — Flute
A little bit of practice with triplet crotchets is no bad thing. This very rhythmic piece gives a good context within which to play accurate groups of triplet crotchets when they appear just once in the middle section.
In the key of A major.
Chloe’s Blues — Clarinet
A short study piece for clarinet, concentrating on jazz style articulation.
Gary’s Groove — Saxophone
This is a good workout to practise crossing the break and should be played with a jazz feel. Keep the finger movement economical and smooth when moving from C to D.
