A bit about me ...
I live and work in Malvern, Worcestershire, UK. I am primarily a clarinettist and saxophonist and spend my time teaching instrumental music in schools and privately and playing in various groups. I also play bass guitar and can offer lessons on this instrument too. When I am not out and about I am usually at my computer composing, arranging or engraving and editing music.
I studied the clarinet initially with Doug Drake, then with Bernard Griffiths and at Leeds University with Paul Orton, who also introduced me to the saxophone. Much of my playing happens with the Malvern Big Band, our local Chandos Symphony Orchestra and the Black Pear Symphonic Winds.
